PLANETARY DESIGN

Better coffee. Wherever life takes you.

Planetary Design was born in Montana from a love of great coffee and the outdoors. The idea is simple: good coffee should never depend on where you happen to be.

From the kitchen counter to a remote campsite, Planetary Design creates practical, durable coffee gear made to perform in everyday life and far beyond it. Its products combine smart engineering, rugged construction and thoughtful design.

Airscape®, BruStop® and Planetary Design’s patented removable-bottom system are all examples of the same philosophy: solve a real coffee problem with a smarter, simpler solution.

AIRSCAPE® TECHNOLOGY

Push air out. Lock freshness in.

Airscape® takes coffee storage beyond a conventional airtight container. Its patented inner lid moves down to the level of the contents and pushes excess air out before locking in place.

Less unused air around your coffee means better protection for aroma, flavour and freshness. The system also helps shield coffee from environmental influences such as moisture and light.

BRUSTOP® TECHNOLOGY

Press once. Stop the brew.

French press coffee is loved for its rich, full-bodied character, but traditional presses have one obvious weakness: once the plunger is down, the coffee can continue extracting from the grounds.

BruStop® is designed to reduce that continued extraction. A tempered stainless-steel plate and silicone gasket work together during pressing to create a one-way seal.

Once fully pressed, the system creates a physical barrier between the brewed coffee and the grounds below. The result: rich French press coffee without letting the brew keep getting stronger while it sits.

PATENTED REMOVABLE BOTTOM

Great coffee in. Grounds straight out.

Brewing with a French press is easy. Cleaning one often is not. Wet grounds collect at the bottom, leaving you scooping, rinsing and trying to reach inside the press.

Planetary Design’s patented removable-bottom system makes cleanup much simpler. On compatible presses such as the OVRLNDR®, the base twists off so the used grounds can be removed and rinsed away directly.

Less mess. Faster cleanup. Brew, enjoy, rinse and get on with your day.
